Diners using IQ generate the dish-level signal that powers PRO's analytics. PRO operators feed back menu accuracy, photos, and order data that sharpens IQ. One scoring engine, two products, both sides reinforcing the data.

HOW IT WORKS

Three engines. One number. Always explained.

01BAYESIAN QUALITY

Three-level priors.

A three-level prior hierarchy — global, cuisine, restaurant — that lets a new dish at a strong restaurant inherit confidence instead of regressing to a global mean. High-confidence scores require thirty mentions across two or more sources.

02128-DIMENSION TASTE

Personalized per diner.

Every diner has a learned flavor vector. Every dish has one too. Cosine similarity becomes “craving match.” Two diners standing in front of the same menu see different scores — accurately.

03CROWD SIGNAL

Grows with use.

First-party check-ins, ratings, and photos from Aji IQ users feed a live signal layer that grows with adoption. Weighting shifts as confidence grows: cold start leans on taste, mature dishes lean on quality + crowd.

When confidence is high, the score ships with a plain-English explanation generated from the actual mentions: what reviewers love, what to note. The number is the product. The math is the proof.

01

Granularity over generalization.

Most platforms answer at the comfortable level — restaurants, neighborhoods, four-stars. We score every dish on every menu, then explain the score. Aji IQ shipped a menu-first scoring pivot in April so the system answers the actual question: which dish.

02

Two-sided by design.

Aji IQ and Aji PRO sit on the same scoring engine and the same data substrate. Diners check in; restaurants get signal. Restaurants correct their menus; diners get sharper scores. Single-sided products — consumer-only or B2B-only — don't compound the way two-sided products do.

03

Built global from day one.

1,022 markets configured before market 1 launched. Type system, i18n, compliance posture, scoring infrastructure — all set for global from the start. Phasing is for people without a thesis.

Built in Detroit and Ann Arbor.

Aji IQ learned what it knows on 4,340 restaurants across Detroit and Ann Arbor — two cities with the kind of immigrant food culture that rewards a system willing to score at the dish level. Every score traces back to a meal you can have today. We ship more than we say. Our customers are everywhere.

JUNE 11

World Cup launch.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is the first co-hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Detroit hosts matches. Aji IQ goes global the same day — the 1,022 markets that have been waiting in the system since the day we built it. The world arrives in our hometown. We meet it ready.
